Arthritis Walk: Support My Wife
One in three Americans will suffer from some form of arthritis in their lifetime. My wife is one of these Americans. She suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, which causes her immune system to attack and damage her joints. Through the work of a number of chemists, doctors, health care professionals, and other scientists, she functions almost normally most days. However, the bad days make me want to cry.
On June 9, Mary will be participating in an Arthritis Walk. The purpose of the walk is to fund research to help people with arthritis and related diseases have more good days. Please support my wife in supporting the Arthritis Foundation through the Arthritis Walk.
If you can't support her financially, please pray for the strength of those who walk, many of whom have arthritis; pray for their safety; pray for financial support; and pray that God gives us the wisdom to find better treatments (and a cure) for these diseases.
Thank you and God bless.
