2006 Orange Bowl
Penn State University's football team, lead by their head coach Joe Paterno, fought hard, and won against the Florida State Seminoles, led by Bobby Bowden, in the 2006 Orange Bowl.
More important than who won and lost, Paterno and Bowden showed grace, class, and friendship before and after the game. We need more role models like that.

Paterno and Bowden are both from the old school -- when grace and good sportsmanship were not only expected, but customary. Too bad things have changed.

True, true, Andrew (I didn't mean to rhyme there, but I did). There used to be a very bad joke about a rival's former coach because of his temperament. If more coaches were like Bowden and Paterno (who graduates a good percentage of his student atheletes, if I recall correctly, it's a better percentage than Penn State as a whole), football would probably be a more enjoyable game.
